A Large Cup of Cocoa

Recently I have set myself the goal of learning the Objective-C framework Cocoa. Why have I done this?

Well for fame, fortune, and the respect of my fans of course. Also, I use macs at home and find not being able to tinker frustrating.

This whole learning adventure of course presented a few issues. First, It necessitated that I learn Objective-C. Luckily the basic building block of c I already knew. However my foundation in the object oriented paradigms of c++ have been a bit of a disservice. I’ve found approaching it from the standpoint of knowing nothing about objects has worked best.

So I’d place my progress currently at somewhere between trivial and inept, but quickly rising to, “standard cup of tea.” It would go quicker if my attention wasn’t divided quite so much. In short, I have high hopes that within a few months some cacao-licious treats will be flowing out of preekout.
